Day 3 – in the middle of the night
By
Here we go, day 3. I didn’t feel like running this evening but pushed through a long day of work, putting the tribaby to sleep and cooking dinner. I pushed through all that and managed to put on 5 layers of gear and reflective material and a headlamp and head out into the night.
It was very overcast and a thick fog lined the dark cool night. My headlamp exposed evey breath as I started to run. I usually don’t run with a iPod or mp3 player but to get and keep myself motivated I went with it. The run started off well but I was a little tight… All over. Anyways, I did several loop around the neighborhood feeling pretty good. I ran more than I thought I would about 75% of the time and walking the rest. The night air was cool, the snow and the house lights through the fog and trees put on a erry display fit for a Rob Zombie video. It was cool. I could feel myself slowing down towards the end of the run put I finished strong and didn’t get hit by a car. I ran about 30 mum or so and cooled down for another 5. I did some hip abductor and aductor exercise to strengthen my core and settled into the couch for a bit. I’ll let you know how u feel tomorrow but I feel pretty good now
